when you arrive & leave
- Upon arrival, please drive directly into the parking area and close the gate behind you.
- Only then may you remove your dog(s) from the vehicle, or you may walk your dogs on a lead into the field and close the gate behind you before removing their leads.
- It is the responsibility of those using the field to allow enough time at the end of their session (approximately 5-10 minutes) to get their dog(s) on a lead and out of the field, and to remove their car from the secure parking area so that the next user can enter on time (PLEASE NOTE if the customer in the field before you is late exiting and this impacts on your session please email the details to info@thedogspaddocks.co.uk and we will investigate - please don't extend your own session as this will have a knock on effect for other customers for the rest of the day).
- Dogs must be on a lead when not in the secure field.
- Dogs must remain in the owner's vehicle until the previous user's car has left the field or they have got their dog(s) into their vehicle in the parking area.
- Do not enter the field if the previous customer is still in the field.
- Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your booking. Many of our customers have nervous or reactive dogs, and cars arriving may upset or disturb their session.

- You are responsible for your dog(s) and any others you bring with you.
- Do not leave your dog(s) unattended.

BSL affected dogs
If your dog breed is subject to restrictions under BSL (this includes Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasiliero, XL Bully), they are welcome at our 6 secure locations subject to the following requirements:
- You must let us know and upload your Public Liability Insurance Certificate when you make your booking.
- You must also provide your Certificate of Exemption when you make your booking.
- The dog must be neutered in line with government rules.
- The dog must be micro chipped.
- The field must be locked using the padlock provided so the dog cannot escape.
- The dog must be kept on a lead and muzzled until you have entered our secure field, closed the gate and secured the padlock - you can then remove the lead and the muzzle.
- The dog must be put back on a lead and muzzled before opening the gate to leave the field.
- If you have more than 1 dog (with only 1 banned breed in your household), they can come to the field together, as long as they have a minimum of 1 handler. All dogs leads and muzzles can be removed once in the field, including the banned breed dog.
- If you have more than 1 banned breed dog in your household they can come together but each banned breed dog must have its own handler (aged over 16).
- If you visit the field with a banned breed dog and dogs from different households, the banned breed dog will need to remain muzzled and on a lead at all times with a minimum of 1 handler (aged over 16) per banned breed dog (NOTE we have contested this with our insurers and are waiting to hear back).
